the 'rents

Have you met my parents? They're quite the pair. Sometimes I'm told by my dad that I'm just like my mom. That makes me laugh, because she's quite a character. Other times, as I sit and reflect, I see similarities between me and my dad. Either way, they're both quite unique, and full of jokes and laughter.

As I write, they're in England, touring around with my sister's fiance's parents (got it?), and seeing quite a few interesting things. They send the odd email, telling us of their adventures overseas, asking how the granddaughters are, and including pictures of castles, monuments, and themselves.

Today, however, they sent some pictures that capture the real them - just as I imagine them being as they trounce through the English countryside.
