Have I mentioned that Plava likes hockey? I'm not really sure what it is about the game that she loves, but the instant she sees it up on the screen, she squeals a gleeful, "HOCKEEEEEEE!!!" and does a happy jig around the room. She then proceeds to walk up to the screen, point and say, "Man! Man!" and then, "Tiss!" and gives it a smooch.
But it doesn't stop there. Although we usually shop at Superstore, when we need something small and quick, we usually go to the Safeway down the road. There are big hanging posters of hockey players in the store, and we're hardly in the door when she exclaims at the top of her lungs, "HOCKEEEEEE!"
Ryan and I happened to get some free tickets to a Vancouver Giant's game recently and instead of trying to find a babysitter, thought we'd just take Plava along. Well, let's just say that we were happy that there were two spare seats next to us, because she was so excited to see the game that she spent most of the time standing up and dancing. (Especially when the music came on between plays) She lasted the WHOLE game - that's pretty darn good for a 1 year old - and she hardly complained at all.
You gotta love these kids. You really never know what they're going to be like until you see them grow up and see their personalities emerge. And this is only our first! I can't imagine what the next one will be like, or the one after that, or the one after that.....and what will number 8 be like? :)
One at a time.....one at a time.

Hey, with 7 kids you could have your OWN hockey team!
The apple has not fallen far from the tree.

I guess she is a true Canadian! It sounds very cute. So...another one hey? We look forward to whenever you decide to have another little Koch running around!
Uh oh, your kid is a sucker for mullets. Be warned...
