As I was lying in bed this morning at around 5:45, Plava playing on the floor, myself struggling to get a few more hours of precious sleep after an odd night when Plava woke up at 1:00 and spent the remaining hours of the night in bed with us, I started thinking about one of my favourite shows. Yes, TV shows. And I don't even watch a lot of TV.
The Office is a British production and is hysterical. I think I could watch it over and over and still find it funny, and that says a lot. I actually laugh out loud while I'm watching it, and again, that is unusual.
There's something so refreshing about the dry, subtle British humour. It's so much more funny to me than our ridiculous sitcoms that we get on TV here.
There's also an American version of The Office, which is pretty funny too, but is just a little more obvious in the way the humour comes across.
And now I must stop my posting because my child is whining that she wants some attention. Fair enough. I'll give it to her. But give The Office a watch and see how you like it! Let me know!
