We used Ryan's parents' glorious trailer which provided more than enough indoor space for the three of us to sleep, keep our stuff, and dance around. The weather couldn't have been better, and the lake was warm warm warm.
We managed to eat rather well (mostly organic, of course), sleep deeply(including Plava), and really relax (though somehow I'm exhausted now!). Our campsite was private, surrounded on all sides by enough forest so we could hardly see our neighbours, and our visitors consisted of more than just the squirrels and Stellar Jays.
We had a visit from Grandma and Grampa, as well as a surprise visit and meal from Papa, Nana, Uncle G, Auntie T, and Little F!Not to mention the friends that were camping along side us a couple skips down the road. It was a group camping trip with anyone from our church who wanted to go, but alas, our site was situated a little ways away from the rest. We still had a great time though.
Glad to be back! Glad to be sleeping in my own bed again. Glad to be living in a house again. But we'll miss the beauty, quiet, serenity, and simplicity of outdoor livin'.
Day 1 - note the clean clothes and nicely done hair.
No longer day 1 - note the frizzy hair and slightly dishevelled appearance.
At the lake - Plava and Dada - she's pulling up to standing and starting to shuffle along!
Plava in the playpen!!! A favourite spot to play!
Lookin' for trouble!
Blowing bubbles with Dada.
The Axe Murderer and the Avacado Monster.

I have to laugh! That avacado picture is PRICELESS!!!!!
Cute pics? Where did you go that you could have a campfire? We just got back from camping at Gordon Bay and sadly, there was a campfire ban the entire time we were there. :( It was still tons of fun though!
There was no campfire ban where we were - Rolley Lake. Everyone was having campfires. It was great!
