It was a rough start to the night, feeling sleepy and yet wide awake, not sure whether I felt like my body was asking for sleep or for me to pull a late one. "Pull a late one" sounds like I have an exam to study for or something, but it probably would have consisted of just perusing blogs for a couple hours. And maybe checking and re-checking my email to see if anyone emailed me at 2:00am. It could happen. There are people I know in different time zones, you know, so stop laughing, you!
But after a couple perusings, I had had enough and headed to bed, only to keep thinking I heard noises out in the hall.
"Did you hear that?" I asked Ryan.
"What did it sound like?" He replied.
"Someone's foot cracking - out in the hall." I knew very well that if someone was in the hall, we'd hear the creaking and cracking of the floor boards, so it was more for sleepy conversation's sake that I spoke up about the noise.
Ryan, on the other hand, sat bolt up and stayed like that, staring out at the hallway for quite some time. Sorry Ryan. Heh.
"And what was that?" I said a little while later.
"I don't know."
"Probably Plava just sighed in her sleep. I think that's what it was." I said.
"ZZZZZZZZ" said Ryan.

And even later, I suddenly awoke to the sound of someone speaking.
"WHAT WAS THAT?" I asked Ryan groggily.
"That was you. You were talking in your sleep."
"Oh.....ZZZZZZZ" And off I went to sleep.
Nothing like sleeping on a full brain, eh? (eh, Stacy!?)

Yeah, no kidding! Kev is the sleep talker in our family. I love it...I have full conversations with him. I can't say I've ever woken myself up with talking because my brain was so full. You've got me there Laura!
