But is that what this post is about? NO! I just wanted to tell you all that. :)
This post is about this past weekend. We had quite a nice time. Easter weekend - Ryan home for 4 days - good times with family and friends.
It started with a wig party. Yes, that's right. Ryan turned 30 on Thursday and we thought we'd have a party. Not just any party, but we'd have a WIG party. So, we got all dressed up:
Made a delicious cake (that just happened to look like a kitty litter...)
Sent Plava off to her grandparents, knowing that she's be rather scared of a bunch of weirdos in wigs, and had a handful of colourful characters grace our abode.
It was good fun, and not even Plava and Pito got completely left out. The next day, they got their turns trying on the funny things.
The next morning we went to church and it was really nice. Good service, good people. We headed over to Grandma and Grampa's place for a birthday/easter dinner with the family. Last night before Plava's bedtime, she got to light some sparklers with Dada - they were left over from the party.
It was a great weekend. Lots of fun, laughs, family and friends. Hope your weekend was just as fun!

I love your idea of a wig party. It looks like so much fun. I may have to still that idea.
