the mysterious intruder

The other day (you'll never believe it) we had a mysterious intruder in our house.

There I was, minding my own business, when I look up and see a GIRAFFE in my family room!

She was vaguely familiar, this little giraffe, though I could have been mistaken. Probably deja vu.

She made herself quite at home as she set down to do some painting.

I watched in disbelief as she got herself a snack and sat out on the porch.

She even had a little conversation with the neighbour under the fence!

Then she came straight at me with a stethoscope and listened to my heart!

And then took my blood pressure! (At least she was useful...)

And before she left, she even paid a little visit to the baby, who enjoyed it very much.

What a strange day. Here's to hoping that weird giraffe doesn't come back!

So cute! Laura, I love the job you guys are doing with your kids. I love how free Plava feels to just be herself. That is a direct reflection of your parenting and she seems so full of joy and love for life. Well done my friend!
