Adventure #1
SO, we were camping for about 5 or 6 days and it was lovely. The Spent thing was nearly impossible camping, as it seems. I admit we could have made a little more effort, but there's something about camping and 'smores and chips and sugary iced tea that just seems right. Sigh!!
We camped at Cultus Lake, which we had never done before, and it was really nice, apart from the fact that we were fairly close to a road and parking lot of a corner store and there were some teens blaring their music one evening. But no, it was really nice. We went to the waterslides one day, and to Dinotown another day (totally recommended, by the way!), and spent days hanging out at the lake. Teresa, Gregg, Cousin F & E came for a few nights too, and camped in their cool orange van, which doubles as a jungle gym for the kids during the day, it would seem. :)
Here are some pictures.
One of the first days, Cousin J and Grandma came for a visit. Much bubble blowing and running ensued.
Pito looks on.
I LOVE THIS PICTURE!
Plava, Doggy and Pito, posing on the log.
On a walk by the lake, the one day that it rained a little.
On that same walk, me and Pito.
Dinotown!!! The excitement is evident.
Pito on the slide.
Plava on a bouncy bird.
Teresa & Cousin F on the bumper cars.
Having a ride on the train.
Boating on the little river.
And Ryan and I even got to get a little heat-induced aggression on on a solo bumper-car moment.
Can you feel the release?? Aaaaah.
Back to the campsite. Ryan and the girls eating lunch.
(This is Pito's funny posing these days. She throws her head back and flashes a goofy smile, or something like it.)
Enjoying the lake, and our new floaty toys.
Pito sitting back and relaxing in the sun.
While Ryan and Plava "plant a garden"
(Plava's idea - they stuck leaves in the sand to look like plants.)
Pito and Daddy, playing catch. I just love those little toddler legs. :)

Will you adopt me?
Hmmm. Yes, for a price. :)
Oh and you'll have to go to bed at 7:30 like the other kids. Haha.
