Then there was last night. Awake at 2:00. Back to sleep in crib at 4:30. Hell in a nutshell.
Well, hell would probably be quite a bit worse, actually, but you can imagine what we felt like.
Screaming when I put her down, rolling onto her back, kicking her legs in the air and starting to softly smile and say, "dada", falling asleep on my shoulder (she's never been one to do that before), waking up and forcing her way towards the milk supply, falling asleep in my arms, waking up when I put her down, screaming again, Ryan's turn, screaming, looking around, craning her neck to find Mama, screaming in her crib, reaching for us, and the cycle continues...
It just goes on and on. Naps have been like this too. Hours of work getting her to sleep, and then she wakes up 40 minutes later.

She's teething. Yeah, I know. A likely story. They're always teething, aren't they? No, she's really got to be doing some serious teething.
She's got puffy gums. I think she's got 4 coming all at the same time. I can see two of them under the surface already.
I'm glad I'm not teething. I seems like it sucks.
Um, I don't think I'd scream though. Come on, Plava.
What a baby.

Just when I am beginning to think that starting a family is a really good idea...
If I were a baby, I think I'd want to sleep and sleep and only wake up when I had to (never mind that as an adult I would still love to do this sometimes).
I hope you find some no-fail plan, and then let me know when I am struggling through the same thing! Stay positive!
As I read that I thought to myself, "I have to tell Nancy it's so wonderful and even though there are really hard days, it's all worth it!", and then I thought, "maybe I should just tell myself that."
Oh...sorry! Man, that stinks...it's like she's playing games with you guys. We will just keep praying. Hey, question...Did you at some point pray for God to teach you patience? Te he he! (I know, I know...it's easy for me to laugh...I get to sleep through the night. Actually, I always wake up at least three times a night anyway. Kev says it's good training for the future. Reading your post makes me think that maybe he's right!)
HA HA HA!!! Patience, yes, I've prayed for that...
